Custom Search Allenroids 1.5 Allenroids is a freeware Asteroids clone written in OpenGL. Allenroid's graphics are done in a 'retro' style, which is a fancy way of saying that I have no idea how to produce something lifelike (there goes my Pixar career). However, I like the arcade-game feel I wound up with.

Tron was an arcade game based on the movie of the same name, release by Disney in 1982. The original game consisted of 4 sub-games, the only one of concern is the 'Light Cycles' one, in which the player uses a left/right joystick to control a 'Light Cycle' which leaves a wall behind it wherever the cycle goes, turning only at 90 degree angles.

The player must then get the AI to crash into their wall while avoiding hitting the AI's own wall themselves. Those were the humble beginnings of Armagetron Advanced's game play, which has now blossomed into 16 player mayhem, with highly advanced AI, network game play, and of course all in a 3D environment. When a ball hits the corner of a brick, it doesn't just go back in the direction it came from. Instead, the exact point of impact is calculated, and the ball bounces off the corner just like a real ball would.
Balls also collide with each other, again using precise mathematical formulas. License: Shareware, $5.

With his gelatinous structure as his only means of defense Gish must follow the echoing cries of his damsel in distress deep into the earth below. What freakish creatures dwell in this subterranean land? Who is Brea's captor?

These pinball games are the most fun computer pinball games I’ve played. When there were issues with the High Sierra system upgrade, I missed it so much, they allowed me to access on a different platform. Opened by accident tonight and was delighted to see I had my game back on my iMac. The support team is great. Would recommend to anyone that wants to play realistic pinball games on their computer. Developer Response, Hello pinball fanatic, Thanks for this great review and the stars!:).

Voyage2k, How does a software program replicate a physical error?!?! The left flipper is stuck. Like literally stuck in the upward position. Apparently on EVERY game. I was playing the Firepower II demo and all of a sudden when I flipped the ball with the left flipper, it stayed up.
I cancelled the game, started a new one. Left flipper? Still stuck up. Switched to one of the games I owned, Diner. Load the game and started a new one?
THE FLIPPER IS STILL STUCK UP. I sincerely appreciate the authenticity of FarSight to replicate pinball games in all their accuracy, but this is ridiculous. I want to buy these last few Williams/Bally tables, but not if this is going to be one of these easter eggs or something. (BTW, the pricing window says NULL where it should give a price for the entire current Season.) I’m very, very disappointed. While other platforms got to play these tables earlier than us Mac folk, now this happens?:( Developer Response, Hello Voyage2k, We apologize for this left flipper bug you are seeing/having.
